Alessi’s playful Anna G. corkscrew features a figure of a woman: smiling face framed with short hair, long neck, slender arms and a long beautiful dress. The bottle opener was designed by Alessandro Mendini in 1994, inspired by his and Alberto Alessi’s friend, designer Anna Gili. Anna G. is a beloved classic and a delightful addition to any kitchen.
The Alessi Values Collection was launched to celebrate the centennial of the famous Italian design house. The fifth part of the collection is called Hybridisation, which refers to the mixing of different cultures and disciplines. That’s why Alessandro Mendini’s classic corkscrews Anna G. and Alessandro M. have been given new clothes, which are adorned with Mendini’s playful, vivid pattern Galla Placidia from 1984. The corkscrew comes in a special gift box designed for Alessi’s 100th anniversary.
